We put up our new silver curtains that match our new duvet cover and put the original curtains in front of the closet. I love love love our room!

Our first dinner guest! Jamie came over as our guinea pig guest. I made French Bread Pizza and feta and craisin salad using all new kitchen gadgets and dinnerware. We also had grapes and watermelon. It was so much fun!

The Legend of Peg-Leg Miley
Once upon a time there was a beautiful orange kitty named Miley. She had an unfortunate run-in with the scourge of the seas, Captain Tide the Detergent. As a result, she had to sail to the port of Pet Haven and, due to her injuries in the fight with Captain Tide, one of her pretty little legs had to be shaven. Her normally sweet disposition was replaced by a seriously cranky attitude. Now she sails the seven seas on her ship The Gilbert and will forever be known as the fearsome Peg-Leg Miley.

This game may mean the end of our marriage. On the multiplayer setting, we can battle each other. There are many ways to block or disrupt your opponents progress, and that has caused more than a little tension at home!

We searched high and low for a glass curio cabinet where all of our breakables would be safe from the cats. We had seen this one at World Market but it was too expensive. When we went back after the wedding, it was on clearance for 50% off! Combine that with a gift card from the wedding, and voila! Now WuShock has a new, safe home where he can be admired by all!

After being away from work for almost 2 weeks, I (Tristy) came back to find that the State was given a grant that had to be used to reward its employees. They weren't allowed to give us bonuses, so they bought us new phones, headphones, staplers, mousepads (which we don't need because we all use optical mice) and pens. Apparently, we will also be receiving coffee mugs and shirts. It's my dream come true.

We spent the day exploring San Juan Island. We hiked around Lime Kiln Park and ended up stopping for lunch at a picnic table overlooking the Haro Straight. It is one of the best meals we had on the Honeymoon; roast beef, string cheese, goldfish, and water.

We tried to find a new coffee shop every day. OG provided a nice background for my "artistic" flower shot at The Market Chef cafe. He really enjoyed the coffee and I discovered a great air freshner called Air Sense. It smells just like fresh oranges!
